My favorite dress was definitely from my wedding. It had gold flowers and tiny beads all over it. It’s the first time i have ever felt like all eyes were on me!
My favorite dress was a peacock blue floor length evening gown. I wore to a Navy formal with fiance. It was gorgeous, and even had a train!
My favorite dress of all time is MOST DEFINITELY my high school senior prom dress. I’m generally not into super formal traditions, and I went to prom with a group of friends rather than a date. But, I really wanted a nice dress. I concocted a fantasy of the dress that I wanted, knowing that it may not exist beyond the image in my head. I pictured a floor-length maroon dress, with a fitted bodice and a full, flowing skirt. I figured that I’d probably have to compromise on either the cut or the color, especially since my family did not have a whole lot of money to spend on the dress. Before prom, we went to a bridal store. I walked over to the sales rack, figuring that’s where I’d be finding my dress. I saw a maroon one. I walked over to it, and saw that it was my size. I pulled it off the rack – it had a fitted bodice and a long, flowing, full skirt. I held my breath and checked the price . . . it was doable! I tried it on, and it fit beautifully. I’ve never been ecstatic over a dress like that! I got my hair straightened for prom, and my stylist put in maroon highlights and maroon glitter to match the dress. I couldn’t have asked for more.
My favorite dress would have to be my Audrey Hepburn dress. My aunt bought it for me as a random gift from Banana Republic. It is black and has a simple Audrey like style to it, not to mention it fits like a glove. I love it!
Well, I wasn’t very fond of dresses until very recently. I was more of a tomboyish type of gal and thought dresses were gross. I’d have to say though, I’ve watched a lot of fashion type shows and have looked through prom dress magazines and my all time favorite dress was one that was the color of the rainbow, but in pastel colors. There was a tasteful scattering of glitter on the dress. I’m not sure as to what the dress was called or the designer, but it was a mermaid cut dress and I just thought it was beautiful.

I love my wedding dress. It’s an informal one-strap gown with roses on the strap, actually it’s a “destination” wedding dress. So, I wore it for my wedding and for the formal night on the cruise we took for a honeymoon. The dress is beautiful and made me feel confident- I’m very small and had a lot of trouble finding a wedding dress, and got very frustrated when stores didn’t have my size. It’s really rough on your self-esteem. I’m so thankful I found one that I love and that really flattered my body too.

I love my black sleeveless, V-neck dress with white circles on it. So flattering on me, and I was wearing it when my husband proposed.

My favorite dress of all time was the most simple cotton dress from the Gap – it was black and empire waisted and it just looked PERFECT on me. I love knowing that you can just pull on one thing, look gorgeous and leave the house. I wore that dress until there were so many holes in it, I had to retire it permanently.
That said, I have been wanting to check out Shabby Apple FOR-E-VER.
My wedding dress was my favorite dress ever…it was sooo beautiful; tight on the top, poof and layered on the bottom with beautiful beading. Everything I could dream of and at a discount! My husband loved it! It was so special.
My favorite dress was one made for me by my grandmother when I was a little girl. I felt so pretty in it, with all it’s ruffles and bows.
My mom sewed my prom dress- black sateen with little rosettes on the neckline. Loved that dress so much I felt like a princess!
thanks!

My favorite dress was definitely my wedding dress. I had first spotted it in a magazine ad. It struck me right away as THE perfect dress. I went to the bridal shop and they happened to have the same dress in stock. I picked that one, plus two others, to try on. I tried the other two on first, both were pretty, but when I tried on THE ONE, I fell in love. I felt like a princess on my wedding day, and I try to carry that feeling with me through life. With or without the dress, I am a princess.
My favorite dress was one that I found at a folk festival when I was 12. It was dark blue with stars and moons on it. I wasn’t much of a dress-wearer, so I wore that same dress to any dress-worthy occasion all through middle/high school, and I loved it dearly.
What a gorgeous dress. Love that color (great for us reds). My favorite dress is one I got for my young daughter (does that count?). It is a deep purple taffeta with a gold bow at the waist and a purple tulle underskirt. It looks like a doll’s dress and she looked so gorgeous in it. She’s outgrown it now but I can’t bear to part with it.
My favorite dress was a red dress of the 80′s! It had shoulder pads and was very slimming! The reason it was my favorite is that I felt really good in it! I had just had my first baby and I had worked so hard to get the weight off, it was a struggle and that dress was my reward!
Just subscribed.
My favorite dress was for my senior prom. A light yellow, floor length halter with long tues down the back. I really wanted it two years previous for my boyfriends prom, but couldn’t get it.. when I went shopping two years later I found it, and on sale! It made me feel like belle from beauty & the beast… And I was voted prom queen!
Thank you everyone for sharing your memories with me about your favourite dress. I’m pleased to report that the winner is Julia. Congratulations!
