The scent that I most adore is wintergreen. It’s a very strong mint smell and it always reminds me of the wintergreen mint candies that I also love. My boyfriend thinks I’m weird because I told him that I loved the scent of his muscle rub because it smelled like wintergreen. I think it’s a lovely scent nonetheless.
Orange flower (neroli) is my favourite smell ever. It’s really popular in French skincare (shower gel and body lotion) but impossible to find in Australia.
The smell of my 14 month old girls hair as we cuddle on the couch before bedtime, I soak the smell in and it makes me feel overwhelming love each and every time. Nothing is as good.
Lavender is my favourite scent as it reminds me of my mother.
I just signed up for your newsletter Julie. My favorite smell would probably be baby powder scent.. I would say because it strongly reminds me of something in my childhood, as I have always loved the smell. Also love the scent of a newborn baby.. divine!
Love the smell of ripe mangoes or vanilla I prefer natural smells as manufactured perfumes make me sneeze not fun.
I love the smell of Jasmine.. especially walking past it in the sunshine it makes me smile and adore nature <3
I love the scent of pomegranite! It is so sweet and invigorating! It makes me feel alive!
I used to work with fragrances, before I went on to make up and skincare, my favourite smell would be a gorgeous one by a famous company with Lavender extracts, you would put it on and then you could still smell it the next day it was really beautiful, I have a lot of memories of this especially,as I attended the launch party of this beautiful perfurme in Harrods, in 2004 – such memories,of a lovely evening, and meeting famous people as well.
My favourite smell is that of freshly-showered husband. Mine in particular, although Posh Spice’s will also suffice. lol, just kidding. So yeah, the aroma of my hubby emerging from the bathroom makes me happy
Even though I am crazy about anything aromatherapy related and love all essential oils, my all-time favourite smell would have to be vanilla. It takes me back to childhood happy times on the beach eating an icecream. An innocent but sweet, compelling combination of sunshine, smiles and sea, whilst building a sandcastle and decorating it with shells and seaweed before the tide comes in and demolishes it
I always buy vanilla candles as I feel it fills my space with that energy of innocence and purity xx
My favourite scent is of mock orange trees. They were around my house growing up and it reminds me of the good time.
I love a mixed blend, especially with lavender, orange, and ylang ylang as this puts you in a nice place.
Thanks Julie for sharing the love! Good luck to you all, Sally – AROMANTIK Natural Perfumes
PS Mademoiselle Slimalicious – I offer a lovely Neroli (Orange Blossom) 100% natural perfume oil on my website and it’s just delicious x
The smell of jasmine in the air as the wind blows it’s warm breeze, makes me think of happy days laughing and joking with my friends.
Hi Julie,
wow what a great giveaway! I would have to say that my favorite scent is the passionfruit flowers in my garden. I smell them before I see them, gosh I would love to find a fragrance that does the same, and think this oil based natural product might just be it!
I absolutely love the scent of jasmine as it reminds me of my beautiful garden back home in Pakistan!
My favorite scent in the whole world is Cherry Blossom with Vanilla.
My Nana used to wear this scent, and ever since she passed smelling it and wearing it makes me feel elegant, beautiful, safe and secure.
I really love vanilla scents! It’s special to me because it makes me feel warm all over in the Christmas season!
One of my fave scents is roses – an oldy but a goody. I have 3 roses outside my front door and I love coming home after work and burying my nose in a beautiful velvety rose and inhaling it’s intoxicating scent (gotta watch out for the bees though!). Instant relaxation!
That’s a hard one to pick…. coffee and chocolate are high on the list for me… But the top two are rose and lemon verbena – those are the best two scents. I don’t know if I can pick just one! Lemon verbena is so uplifting for me. And rose is just. so. good. Thanks for the giveaway!
I love the scent of Franjipani, it is so rich and delicious, and reminds me of my holiday in Bali 15 years ago!
I love the smell of lily of the valley. They remind me of childhood when we had a bunch growing in the back of our yard. I loved them so much!
I love the smell of vanilla because it reminds me of my nannna’s hot cupcakes. I used to love cooking with her in the kitchen
