I’m very excited to announce that Beautiful You is going to be taking a major role in not one, but two, Melbourne events, during National Body Image and Eating Disorders Awareness Week in the first week of September.
The first will be a special fashion, styling and positive body image event for plus size women on September 8th which I will be speaking at. Details are still being arranged by the event organiser but I have it on good authority there is going to be some beautiful clothes, sparkling wine and lots of fun. A great night out for the curvy gals!
The second is an event that I will be hosting – a Beautiful You Fundraiser with all proceeds raised going to The Butterfly Foundation who do an amazing job supporting Australians with eating disorders and raising self esteem and positive body image in children and young people nation wide. This fun afternoon will be on September 11th (save the date!) and there will be a beautiful high tea, sparkling wine, a lucky door prize, raffle and gift for every attendee. There’ll be lovely self esteem enhancing activities and special happenings on the day too, but I’m not telling all right now. Have to keep you all in a little bit of suspense!
This is where I am hoping some of my lovely readers will be able to help me out – it’s all for such a wonderful cause. If you operate a business or service that you feel will have amazing appeal to a group of 30 socially conscious women, I would love to hear from you. I am in need of the following…
